I am done with my client interview and it went well but they are asking me to come to gugaon location.
I am from Bangalore location.
I directly said to client that I can't since I have my family here.
When I inform this to my manager he is saying how come u say like this to client.according to kpmg policy u need to travel to anywhere to work.

People on H1b. How have you managed your client travels pre pandemic? Does Deloitte do an amendment every time you start an engagement and travel to a different client location?

I came to US on an L1b in 2018 and switched to H1b in 2021 Oct. Current 797/visa expiry is stated as July 2023, by which I would have spent 1.5 years on H1b visa (and 3.5 years on L1b before that). During h1b extension , will I get another 4.5 years of extension? How does extension work when u switch visas?

Is it true Deloitte is not sponsoring H1B visas? I have a friend considering joining as an SC after MBA. However, they are concerned that Deloitte is not sponsoring. Are these fears correct? How does this work from a recruiting perspective? They would be hired as an off-cycle campus hire via PPMD referral, not within the standard pool of campus hires. Thanks!

Guys - If I am going for a h1b first time stamping interview, what do I answer if i am asked "Do you work for an end client?" I do not have any client letter or any document to show the interviewer. any guidance will be super helpful please.

Anyone on board the H1B 2023 train? How long does BAL take to update the status if picked?

Can H1B approved under consular processing but yet to be activated be transferred to another employer and can the new employer apply for transfer and change of status?

BAL is taking its own sweet time to file my H1B transfer. My LCA was approved on Dec 30. They have all the documents needed to file and give me an update every week saying they will be filing it shortly. Any of you folks experiencing the same ?

Anybody with approved H1B but not stamped due to no on-site opportunity? Any ideas what should be the next step ? Can I apply for deloitte US job directly? Or look for jobs outside using the same visa approval?

Joining Deloitte. I just submitted my documents to immigration. How long will it take to file my H1B case with USCIS? It’s wired big company like Deloitte is using third party law firm for H1B transfers.

10 years after I joined Deloitte, and 8.5 years after my EB3 priority date - today my wife and I received our GCs. What a Diwali it is going to be tomorrow. Cheers!

If I'm an SM up for promo, does Deloitte re-adjust me to an EB-1? I can't imagine PMDs dealing with this visa extension hassle every 3 years.
