Hello! I've been with Citi for a little less than two years and I work in Operational side of banking. I want to switch to the core finance roles within Citi. I am extremely comfortable to switching intra Citi only as I find the work culture and balance pretty decent here. I did explore some roles at the Career website, however I am not sure how should I go about those. I would be really grateful for a kind referral for any roles at what we usually call as C10-C11 levels, or some guidance.

If I resign what will be the consequences?

What would you do if you didn’t need money? I have a fair amount coming one day and don’t actually need to work to live a good life (middle / upper-middle class). I work because of this vague notion of “ambition” and because everyone I grew up around is highly competitive and hard driving. I just feel unhappy so often and am wondering what this is all leading to. Scared I’m wasting my life being unhappy / in turmoil cause it’s what my culture wants me to do.

Looking to exit from 195k base to a sales role base 140 + 40 in guaranteed bonus year 1 to make up for the lengthy sales cycle. I know in the long run total comp through equity and sales commission bonus can be much higher but having a hard time making the jump… mostly my ego to drop drastically in TCO the first year after spending all these years trying to increase base. Still interviewing - unicorn saas account exec. What would you do?

Graduated in 2020, wanted to be a graphic designer, took a job at a startup in a social media role. The boss called me the "r" word for not handling entire 13-ish accounts roster well by myself. I quit. Found a role as social media specialist. Realized (again) that I hate social media.
