It’s an easy certification, but I don’t think that alone will raise your pay by 17% lol
Seriously, if that were the case we'd all be lining up for it haha, definitely other things worth focusing attention on
yes i cannot stop recruiters from reaching out to me with offers of 17% above my current salary (the typical amount to make a CFE change jobs, industry standard). even worse are the droves of the opposite sex clinging to me at bars and social spaces when i am in public. it sounds awful but i can only explain a generic overview of the legal landscape and fraud schemes across financial transactions to a few people at once…
No
I’ve seen this being touted by the ACFE but don’t know how to came to that conclusion.
These certificates help you land a job, when needed. They increase your liability sou don’t know why but in my head I see it as a useless addition. Especially since there is such a professional shortage and that will stay with the future generations wanting to be influencers rather than professionals; we are pretty much secure in our positions for atleast a decade (if you are have a good amount of experience under your belt in the field.
Lol won’t increase your salary here
My promotion earned me 7% so that was cool. ..
Maybe not by 17% but certainly could help. Certifications in our industry are crucial and it kind of depends on the respect that your boss has for the ones you achieve.
