Now I really wanna change my project, TBH I’m looking for an internal switch. Would changing project promote me to BA4 & what hike can be expected here?

Any idea how much tax consultant pay band is in EY?

Any of you 3-6 PQE associates have your own clients? I would really love to do some business development with tangible results. I want to have my own clients or atleast bring some to the firm. What has worked for you? Also looking for advice from partners who may have started BD efforts early in their career.

Did anyone here move to tech from consulting?

I’ve spent 4 years in Big 4, with about half that time in FDD. I feel like Corp Dev is what I ultimately want, but am wondering if a stint in banking could be worth it. If I’m not interested in PE or other buyside alternatives, is the pit stop in IB worth it?
Mainly wonder if IB is a must have box to check, or if you can work your way up the ladder without.

Have anyone gone through the background check process with ReVera or Kroll? How do they check your direct report and working hours per week? I’m a consultant so obviously it varies depending on the project I work on...

For those who have passed the CIPM exam, what is it like (and how does it compare to the CIPP/US exam)?

Hey fishes, urgent help....

I was forcefully released from HCL services saying my BGV is not clear and was released the very same day. Now I am being asked to pay for basic salary of 89 days notice period +18% GST.. WHAT TO DO PLEASE HELP. I am being asked to pay 1,65,000/- and I was forced to leave HCL in 22 days.

I’ve been verbally offered a position at a new company, but the recruiter insists on getting a verbal acceptance before sending the offer in writing. This person insists on negotiating salary before sending the paperwork. Generic benefits, RSUs, bonus info have been provided; it’s all unofficial.

This is absurd. Am I missing some “new way” of doing things? Your take?
