Can anyone here give a referral?
Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

Whatever you do, don't put in your notice until you have a contract signed with another company. You don't want to risk being unemployed in a market as bad as this one. Though I have never worked for an HOA, I have had to deal with them often enough that I don't blame you for one second for wanting to leave. Like another poster said, only you can decide what is best for you and your family.
Speaking from experience, I say GO! Make your next move. I stayed in a job 15 years and regret not having moved at year 5. My skills and pay would have grown substantially.
My 15 year position was eliminated in December. I knew immediately it was a higher power telling me that change was necessary and I prayed He show me the way. I, too have applied to many jobs and finding the most opportunities at a university that is nearby. Do you live near a university? Just remain faithful. That’s what I’m doing. Also spend your time on Coursera taking course to sharpen your skills or broaden them, meditate, exercise, form new good habits. It’s all we can do

Only you can decide what's best for you and your family. It doesn't hurt to look though. That doesn't mean you have to commit to anything that you find.
Let me tell you I totally understand where you're coming from with the HOA. I worked for the HOA at a gated, beautiful mobile home, over 55 community, right at the start of shmovid. The politics were crazy at this HOA and community. I thought, oh it'll be so nice working with mature sr. Citizens. They'll be so nice and chipper. Umm. Opposite. They were constantly telling on each other, complaining about each other, anything they could find to complain about, they would. I guess it's how they kept themselves busy being retired. The elections for the new board was cray cray. I get what you're describing. Perhaps you can be an EA in the restaurant arena. Or maybe a public agency, City or County of ____ (where your city is). Do you like the hospitality industry? I don't know where you live, but I know Disney hire EAs often. How about the education system? Universities, public school districts?
There will always be some level of politics and change. However, that is definitely on the steep side. Look around and see if there is something more consistent and if that would work better for you.
