He mentioned that there are likely exceptions. Should I be concerned? Anyone has experience with this? The office is over an hour drive from my home.

I am currently on opt expiring jan 25th 2020. Is receipt notice of stem opt extension enough to continue in the job or is an approval notice essential ? USCIS takes a while to process hence the worry
