I'm Canadian and got a verbal offer for a US role (I'd move on TN visa). 2 days later, HR calls me and said after checking, immigration team has said TN is a no go, and will now see if can bring me on thru CAN office instead.

Important detail: hiring manager has rlly close relationship with CAN office.

What are my chances here of onboarding thru CAN office!? Otherwise i lose the offer!!!! Any input is appreciated!!

Hello all. My company just went through an acquisition and the company did some restructuring of job titles. When they did this we were all advised the company would be making sure our jobs pay aligned with the national average.
My issue with this is my job title went from a Technical Support Supervisor to a Customer Success Team Lead. I have voiced my concerns with management but have been advised job titles are semantics. In my eyes this is a demotion, and will affect how much my job is worth.
