Comp at AlixPartners and Alvarez... go!
Need help deciding if this offer is worth moving for. Received an offer from Booz Allen Hamilton for an Associate level Sr. Systems Engineer in Los Angeles for $135k base. I countered $150k and a $15k singing bonus and asked if I could be brought on as a lead associate since I've been a lead/manager for a while in my current company.
Current company TC: $125k in Utah.
YOE: 7 with M.S. and MBA
Is the switching cost/risk and higher COL worth it?

I work for a manufacturing company. Director at my company is an entry level executive which typically pays a base salary of $200k. total comp you’re looking at close to $300k. Typically COL adjustment isn’t taken into account for executive level positions. Also, you can def filter Glassdoor by company, YOE, position and location to determine pay. Also encourage you to use Bureau of Labor Statistics. Also these numbers will change slightly across functions. IT almost always pays more than HR and especially finance.
Still a global company and head of major dept with a lot of employees.

I’ve seen $240 - $300 TC (base plus bonus) for Director roles in industrial companies
