Hey all, I find myself kn a unique situation. Im currently am advisor with Fidelity Investments. My personal situation is taking me international to a remote area for the next 4 years. Given our industry regulations. It seems to meet that my job opportunities are going to be severely limited. Im just curious to know if there is ANYTHING out there that's available to do remotely that's still within the realm of finance that I should be looking into. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Can (Should) we all as employees decide that we don't want to get back to offices 5 days as week post this COVID19 fiasco is done and dusted.?

What's the point? If we are able to deliver results, work and progress from home, then why do we need to be shackled back into the monolithic corporate systemic enslavement?

Maybe stick with 1 or 2 days of office for Important F2F meeting, with rest WFH?

HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? I have 15 years within the organization, left for 10 months to be remote during the pandemic while sorting out childcare as immunocompromised family helped. I currently do securities ops/accounting but want to move into a more client facing role. One of our marketing/client service associates got a promotion, so I’m guessing she’ll be doing higher level work, which may leave a gap for some of the work she used to do. How would I go about asking if I can work on that team in some capacity but still do my current role? I’ve only been there 1 yr and I know my current manager also has some higher level items in securities ops he wants me to do as well.
