What's the salary range for a director at the Gilead Sciences foundation? There is a position perfect for me, but I don't want to throw my hat in the ring if starting salary isn't $180-190k. Also, any thoughts on the stability of their philanthropic commitment? There's talk of a recession; I don't want to go private to be cute a few months later.

What should my requested salary be for a Senior Intelligence Analyst position with CrowdStrike ? I have a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience as an intelligence analyst. Current salary is 56k in NC, but when I was in DC I was making 86k (big locality change)… which makes me confused on what I should expect for a remote job.

As someone who historically voted Republican until recently, I find myself feeling unprecedented frustration with the current administration. Working in DOD, I've witnessed concerning disruption - not strategic restructuring, but what feels like broad, indiscriminate changes that are pushing out talented people.
My hope lies in the 2026 Congressional elections potentially providing some balance. Looking further ahead, I'd prefer future leadership with no ties to extremist ideologies from either side.
What I truly wish for is a return to moderate candidates who can govern from the center. The constant pendulum swing between political extremes serves no one well. Our country deserves thoughtful leadership that can build consensus rather than deepen divisions.
Well, buckle up because I heard too much noise about them to want to push the Supreme Court to favor them to impose not 4 but 8 consecutive years at the WH, which we can argue is NOT what the Constitution says. However, they claim the opposite. Well, it is too late for people to realize what was said in plain, loud, and clear English. I am not saying that the other party is perfect, BUT at least we could've maintained our jobs and not have this mess. Also, get ready because if the complaints are about firing and so on, well, our pockets will be super impacted pretty soon. Super sad for many of the communities and families.

I wish I could say the same, but I still feel like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Stability feels temporary, you know? But I’m really hoping you’re right and things start settling down. But I won't hold my breath.
