Need help with a query. I had a joining bonus of 2LPA subjected to tax deductions. Now, since I am leaving within an year of joining, the company is asking me to pay back the complete 2LPA. In this case, what happens to the tax I have already beared close to 45,000. Will I get it when I file ITR?

Hey fishes. I have been offered Management Consultant role with CTC break up in terms of JB, RB, fixed and variable. So is the fixed amount my gross salary without any other deduction except TDS, or will the organisation contribution to PF be also deducted from the fixed component? I am earning 85k/month now. Thinking to purchase a land of around 15L, not just for investment but to build our own house on it in future.

Though I can somehow manage it without taking a land loan. But I was wondering if I can take some to avail tax benefits.

So my doubts are - Can I avail tax benefits (like home loan) before construction? If I take the loan just to enjoy tax benefits then how much loan should I take at most? Have only ~68k EPF in 80C
