I'm working as a business tech analyst at ZS since 1.5 years and I have worked extensively in SQL and in automation using Python. I know a good deal of ML and DL theory and have done two projects which I believe are good. I'm from CS background and am decent at coding. Anyone who can help me with a referral for data science/ML engineer roles? Current CTC is 13L.

Do most people take a pay cut when moving from consulting to industry? We earn so much that sometimes finding roles that pay at-level is difficult.

Do partners know each other’s compensation? I see partners selling engagements for vastly different numbers b/w shorter ‘interesting’ strategy work and longer ‘boring’ transformations. Thoughts?

What are your thoughts on pay discrepancies based on family structure? Ex. Two people do the same job but one is paid more or given a larger bonus “because they have kids and you live alone” or “because their family is struggling”. Hi All ,My skillset is sap ewm functional .I mostly see openings in service based companies .Compensation offered compared to other skills like Java, big data ,python etc is very low.For instance for a 10 yoe the maximum budget is 28lpa offered by a big4 ,typical service based companies offer even lesser .
