How you got extension for 4 years ?
I don’t have technical information on it however, one advice - if you aren’t happy now in order to plan something better in future, it can easily turnout to be a waste later as well at the cost of ruining current. Take care!
Thank you, well said!
Filing for a GC= shouldn’t matter where you live? It’s not like filing for GC in Nyc is more difficult than filing for one in Tucson.
Lawyers told me it’s generally a bit tougher in bigger cities due to the amount of ppl going through PERM. That’s the extent of what I know, but was told by the lawyers...

Living in Chicago. It's a great city, lots of stuff happening pre-pandemic. Nowadays nothing much goes on, indoor dining and drinking are banned, most museums are closed and the winter is right around the corner. Living cost is good, rent dropped significantly if you move now.
Not too sure how the market test will impact you, depends on the type of role you have. If you feel like it's way too generic and may be lots of qualified candidates, then I'd stay in your current city if you feel the market there isn't that competitive. Chicago is still a big city so there is still lots of talent trying to jump ship to gen a significant salary bump. I had a friend who failed a cyber role market test in Chicago, but again the JD was fairly generic.
I don’t think it matters which city are you at. If you want to live in Chicago you should do it :)
Chicago is a great city just a little too cold for me but you might like it
