I’ve found success by framing it as an evolution, not a disruption, highlighting how a more integrated design team can drive both creativity and business impact. Maybe start with small wins to prove the value? How open is leadership to change right now?

Initiatives like this have to be championed both bottoms-up and top-down. Small wins are essential proof points, but unless the transformation has clear senior-executive sponsorship, they will never add up to a big win or permanent gains.
If you’ve already got a concrete plan then have a conversation with each stakeholder separately to get their feedback and figure out what’s going to make them push back. Find solutions for the issues that give them concern, go back to each one more time to get their unofficial sign off before you get it in front of the broader group for formal approval. You want to walk into the room with everyone saying yes before you give your proposal basically.
