For some reason the recruiter did not know the Sign on bonus amount.
It seems kind of low to me. Where should I focus on negotiation? Also, has anyone had any luck negotiating more vacation days as I've been employed under unlimited vacation days for years. I need more than 15.

It takes passion, curiosity, and the ability to research to hunt for the right person for the role. I believe it can be done in any industry. However, it seems like companies would take a novice over someone with a different industry experience (after viewing several LI profiles) and I don't want to be boxed into my current industry.
