Hey Ladies- I just wanted to reach out and say thank you to whoever recommended The Egg Whisperer podcast! I always hit an emotional low as my 2ww comes to a close and I reflect on my age, knowing I have to do more work with my clinic, my friends lives passing me by- but this podcast is so positive and informative. I’m going to graduate with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in the spring. The current company I work for has no future for me unfortunately so I would love to start applying for engineer positions elsewhere as soon as possible. When should a new grad start job hunting? I feel like I was straight up lied to during the interview process. “lots of opportunities to hit quota”. I’m sitting here with only one demo two months after joining the company. it looks like our team has only two people doing demos, and demos are only happening once every two weeks. At this rate, I don’t think I’ll be even close to hitting OTE. Are there any other companies hiring right now? I’ll have a discussion about my concerns with my manager soon, but there’s too many red flags here.

I am much stressed.. it’s only been 5 months to join Capgemini. I joined in as cyber security consultant with good package.
However, the work I do the tricks, logics and solutions I share with team to apply in the project… all are of no use when discussed with the architect guy. The whole team rely upon the wordings/solutions suggested by him only. It feels like my skill/knowledge and experience is of no use.
I feel like what am I doing here….? Any suggestions please.

I’m starting the IVF process and planning to do my first egg retrieval in early June. I’m hoping to do back-to-back retrievals due to my age and hoping to have at least a few healthy embryos before we try our first transfer. My husband and I are just starting our TTC journey starting with Letrozole and timed intercourse. I’m planning my 30th birthday trip to Italy in June. Is it too risky to travel if pregnant during the first trimester (in case I do end up pregnant before June)?

Post egg retrieval, and my doctor says my thyroid levels are a bit high for what he wants to see for FET, so he has me on medicine to lower it before it’s time for FET. Has anyone else experienced this? Was it caused by all the IVF shots? Will this be a long term issue?

Anyone with stage IV endo and recurring Endometriomas gone on Lupron after egg retrieval? I’m still on birth control but my doc said after egg retrieval (assuming we get a strong embryo), I’d get off of birth control and on lupron for two months before transfer. The reason I’m not getting off of birth control now is because it manages my pain.

Hi Fishies. Im 31 yrs old,spouse 33 yrs old. We are going with IVF due to male factor. Today we got PGT results from CCRM Boston. Among 7 embryos, 5 came normal. 1- 5AA(male), 1-5AA(female),1-4BB(tier2,female),1-4AA(tier1,female), 1-4AA(tier 1, male). What is the best embryo among them? This is my first IVF. And little nervous as well. What could be the reasons if the embryo is not implanted ? Is it something with to do with me? Do we need to do anything from our side, like acupuncture ?

Thoughts on at-home pregnancy test 7 days post day 5 embryo transfer? Risks? Downsides? We have our blood test Sunday on day 9.

Nurse says retrieval to happen tentatively around 18th Dec but then transfer can take place in early February too considering genetic testing takes weeks. Is this the norm? Just fearing the team is not unnecessarily delaying things owing to holiday break.

As a self-pay lady, it’s really annoying to end a stim cycle with boxes on boxes of leftover medication. They could have estimated more closely and included refills or something.

I’m looking into cyro banks to bank my eggs for long term storage. Has anyone had any experience with California Cyrobank, Reprotech, or Fairfax Cyrobank?

Husband and I have been TTC for almost a year. His semen analysis came back all normal with the exception of morphology at 1% (Kruger Strict criteria). Anyone have insights into morphology and it’s impacts on fertility? From what I’ve read and after talking to our fertility specialist morphology seems subjective.

31 year old female here. Recently started ttc. Was on pill before. How many cycles should I try before consulting a obgyn? I want to be proactive in case there is a problem. Also, do I set an appointment with obgyn for a fertility workup? Pretty new to all this and would appreciate all advice.

What is your perceived risk level for contracting COVID these days? Are you back to work? Masking? My clinic still requires testing in spite of vaccination status.

HSG pain level vs. endometrial biopsy? I have an HSG this week and did biopsy last week. Biopsy was brutal! I overheard a nurse telling someone else that HSG is actually more painful but I can’t even imagine… really nervous now.

Does Next Gen issue a formal report for PGS testing results? I had my embryos tested and my clinic just told me which were normal and abnormal. No other info on embryos ratings, etc. they could have not even sent it in for all I know!
Also, how involved are you REs? I’ve been through 2 retrievals now, but feel kinda in the dark still on a lot of things. Some of the nurses are hit or miss and if I want to talk to my doctor I have to schedule a consultation and its typically a 2 week wait.

Started hormones yesterday. I did not realize how restrictive this was going to be with random bloodwork / ultrasounds. Thought I could halt travel for 2 wks and do 7am appts. So hard with our job!
