My girlfriend is currently interviewing for a position in Tokyo and was wondering how difficult it would be for me to land a consulting job without being able to speak Japanese.

Currently a procurement consultant in London with 5 YoE across consulting and industry.

What are the chances of me landing a job in Tokyo and how could I increase that chance?

Went through multi-day loop for L5 SA and felt confident in my interactions. Presentation went well with no lack of answers for follow up questions. Just found out 6 days later I will not be receiving an offer, and it is policy to not provide feedback of gaps or reasons behind no offer. Also found out they ask you not to reapply for 1 to 2 years for same role. Would anyone recommend an alternate path for feedback on interview (outside of recruiter) and is the 1-2 year policy true?

How useful is a CPA license in finding a non-accounting job? Eventually I want to go into more of a financial analyst role but tbh I’m curious about what most people leave auditing to go into. I’m open to anything.

Has anyone here use a resume writer before to help them rewrite their resume? I feel like trying to write about myself and be objective isn't the easiest thing. Get me in front of a hiring manager for an interview and have no problem talking about myself and my history. Getting it on paper and past the ATS is a different story.
