Coach
My favourite:
1. What does success look like in the first 6 to 12 months?
2. How are disagreements or different opinions handled on the team?
3. What kind of people tend to struggle here and why?
4. How does feedback usually get shared day to day?
5. What keeps people on this team long term?
Woah, those are good questions! I would be nervous to ask #4
Depends on what kind of insight you are looking for. You will only get stock responses and controlled information in an interview. I find just asking basic generic questions like what is the culture like or what type of gaps are there and then just let them ramble tells a lot.
Hmm good point! Letting them ramble

I like asking: “What’s something someone did recently that really embodied the company’s values?” or “What happens when someone fails here?” The way they answer—and how quickly—usually tells me more than a formal culture deck ever could.
What is the work culture like for someone who sees things differently?
