What are the next steps in UBS post salary discussion with HR? How long usually they take to relase the offer?

Looking for insights into the salary range of a senior associate at the big 4 consulting firms. There’s a role come up with one of these firms to oversee the partnerships of large multinationals and I need a comparison.

Does Deloitte sponsor H1Bs? The website says they don’t sponsor, so slightly confused as I see people here posting about having offers and will be soon going though H1B process. For context I am not in the USA.

In general, how do you negotiate salary? Do you give salary expectations at certain % higher than you realistically want / know the market is at? Do you explain your reasoning or just shoot your shot?

Does anyone have any insights into what Mckinsey Academy does and how that's different from their regular "Human Capital" practice?

I've been a dental assistant for 11 years , and I think I'm done . I feel the pay is never enough and 9/10 we do the most work in the office . It's never commensurate to what we do and no matter how much experience you have your still 3-5$ more than someone fresh out of school . It's a skill I'm glad to know that I can always find work but the burnout for nothing isn't worth it. Can anyone relate

Do large law firms really recieve enough applications for a position that they cannot follow up when someone reaches out to check on thier application? I get that if you have to reach out, they probably weren't interested anyways, I'm just curious why there is a practice of just leaving applicants in the wind. And also, how does one go about finding out why they were rejected, if thier qualifications are "impressive"?

I’m about to give my notice at a firm I’ve been at for the majority of my legal career. They’ve recently offered me non-equity partnership (which I’ve accepted), w equity partnership on the horizon. However, I’ve been annoyed with their way of running the business and getting between me and my earnings far too long; and I received a lucrative offer to go in-house. Does anyone here suffer from bipolar disorder? How do you manage it and working in law? I see a therapist, and a psychiatrist, and am on medication, but I still have days where I wake up and I’m so depressed I can’t move. I’m working on remedying this with my doctors, but how does one approach mental health issues with their employer? I never felt the need to until I realized how much being bipolar can affect my ability to work.
