Currently im holding 2 offers Cognizant and Accenture.
Overall experience - 2.5 years.

Cognizant offered 10LPA included 20k variable pay.
Accenture offered 9.8LPA included 1,70,000 variable pay.

Im bit worried to choose which offer.
Compensation wise both are similar and im okay with that. But my worry is all about the work culture and lay off's. Hearing lot of buzz in internet about layoffs in these company's but not sure.

Could you please give your suggestions and views on this?

I was hired within the last year as a site supervisor. I did well my first few projects with the company. They asked if I’d be interested in transitioning into a construction manager role. I agreed. Now I still am the site supervisor on projects but I’m also doing all the construction manger duties on the project as well. Essentially 2 jobs for one salary. We have yearly reviews in December but no talks of raise have been discussed. Any help on approaching this to my boss?

I have been working with Walmart for the past 14 months and have recently got an offer from Blackrock for 45 LPA.
Considering the recession and US market scenario, help me understand if it will be a good move to join BlackRock OR should I continue with Walmart with the current compensation.

Hi guys, I got an offer from x and i discussed that with my current. At 1st current said they can only give 30% increment. I said I can't stay with this cause i got 70% and expect at least 50%(as the 70% included VP and the current org don't have vp, they have bonus). Then they said they can do max 45%. I really wanted to stay here so I said okay to current. Then now hr called me and said they are matching the offer(no vp). What should I make out of it? What made them change their mind?

Had a very unpleasant experience with the entire interview process at Paytm. First of all they kept all three rounds in a single day . It started from the morning and ended up till the final round at late evenings. After all the rounds were cleared, the HR asked for the expected package, and when I gave him my quote which was just 35% more than my current CTC, he got reluctant and said we only have a budget of an X amount which was just 10% more than my current CTC. Who on earth does that..?
