I'm on my notice period and got an offer from a company which is the role I'm looking for. However, they've given only 1 day to respond to the offer. This company is 2nd on my priority list and I got this from a personal connect.

Next week I have an interview with my 1st priority company (but that is interview 1st round).

Is it okay to first accept an offer and then say no & not join?

I work for a small business and on March 4th I was offered a higher level position with a much higher set of responsibilities. I was excited and agreed pending a conversation regarding salary that was to take place one week later on 3/11. I immediately saw that I was being tasked projects and added to emails that had to do with my new title and as a team player, I did my part. On 3/11 I was only offered a $10k/year raise which was much lower than I expected… rest in comments

I am seeking entry/associate level digital marketing positions in Boston and am trying to figure out what salary to shoot for. I currently work in strategy at fortune 100 company and am 7 years out from B school with MBA. Total comp right now is $170k ($150k base).

Sign on bonus: 20k
Yearly Bonus ~ 20%
Total Comp ~ $260k year 1 and $240k moving forward
