How is work life balance at Allstate india for the project - Road side assistance.
After selection I got call from manager explaining it is very good team. We have wlb. But the thing that concerns is timing. From 1 pm to 9pm what kind of timing is this for work!! I am sure it would extending further. Also is there a shift & all? I still have huge doubt on wlb there

Many teams work in that shift in Allstate. I was also dreading about the timing before joining. But later realized that this is best for a work life balance especially if you have got family, kids to drop in school and personal time in the morning. Also you will feel privileged if you are working out of BLR office on the days when you visit the office. Traffic will be less at 12.30 pm and after 9 pm. I was never forced or expected to work beyond 9.30 pm in three years here. Infact all the team members encourage to log off by 9.30

Allstate employees usually work in shifts. Most of the days all the meetings and work is over by 9-9.30pm. It all depends on how you set expectations regarding meetings. We also get shift allowance (300 INR per day) for working in these hours, which comes around 5-6k per month and is over and above CTC.
They’re now trying to do away with the shift allowance by moving employees to 11-8 shift
Is WFO monitoried there strictly there?? Like one has to come to office?
