I’m a Vegas local. I can tell you this is hard to answer without knowing your budget and interests. Are you into gambling? Food? Shows? Outdoor activities? And budget is key. A trip to Vegas can be done on a budget or it can be super speedy.
Try Milos, herbs and rye, go see absynthe, and generally try to gamble downtown for that budget. You'll spend the money on food and shows but you'll be better off.
I went with a few friends in September and a highlight of our trip was dinner at Blackout— a dark-dining experience with 7 courses of amazing food. We took an Uber from the strip and it was less than 10 minutes. Would recommend booking in advance! https://dineblackout.com
Yes to gambling, food, shows, and outdoor activities. Budgeting 1K for a long weekend.
If you’re female or gay, go to one of the men strip show. It’s much more fun than the O show etc. Ding Tai Fung has good soup dumplings and braised beef noodles. All the restaurants are decent at the strip
Best Friend is the best restaurant in Vegas and Blue Man is the best show, I’ll fight about it.
I do like Absinthe, but it feels really dependent on the crowd, if it's a bunch of prudish folk who got free tickets through their host you're going to have a bad time. Blue Man is just pure unadulterated fun.
