my agency lost the RFP pitch for my account, i interviewed out of courtesy for an open position on a diff account at same agency but saw external opportunities i would rather pursue. now my agency wants me to resign instead of getting severance because i declined their offer and my old account has terminated. Has anyone else been in this position? Did you try and ask for severance?

Accept offer? Just became a staff 2 in EY Audit and being offered a senior audit position with Cohn Reznick. I still have pending interviews for an associate position in FDD/SAT, but should I accept the senior position if my ultimate goal is to get into FDD/SAT and nothing else pans out? I am currently working in a BD/Digital Strategy role and would like to switch to an MC role. Could you suggest on how to build a CV for the latter given that an MC role responsibilities are quite different from a BD/Digital Strategy role? Insurance is scaring me into not wanting to leave my job for another. We're extremely spoiled at my current job with employer paid good health insurance but i hate my job and want to change career dirction. I found another job but its a contract to hire with no benefits. We'd have to go on my wife's insurance and her options aren't super great either. I’m pending an offer from Visa Inc for a Senior Director role and want to know some guardrails. The recruiter informed me in our very first call that Visa “doesn’t pay cash to bring people on” and alluded to not offering a sign on bonus or RSUs.
