Leave and go somewhere else. I’d recommend exiting to project management or CM.
it's not uncommon for someone to leave after getting their license. question - do you want to leave for other reasons?if so, maybe considering leaving before you're licensed so you're not making your company pay for your ticket to a better firm. but make sure you leave on good terms because you probably rely somewhat on an experience statement from several peers
Please take advantage of your firm OP. They are already taking advantage of you paying you that in such a high cost of living area with what I assume is copious amounts of unpaid overtime.
Move to building envelope consulting. You’ll make at least 20k to $30k more with the experience you already have and more if you ever plan to get your license. I find design architects pick this niche up very well and succeed. Can’t be petrified of heights though.
How long before you get your license?
