May I suggest , that instead for looking for neighborhood for Muslims, try to live with the people of the country and integrate with their society.
One the big problems that UK and other European countries is facing is this segregation against Muslims. A major contributing factor is that we as Muslims move to a new country but continue to live in our circles vs integrating with new cultures.
My 2 cents.
Whilst I agree with your points, it’s worth keeping in mind we should look to live in areas with masjids, halal food options etc which does naturally to contribute to being attracted to an area with a significant Muslim presence.
I don’t think we should deprioritise the spiritual safeguarding of ourselves and offspring simply to be seen as integrating.
Most of the major cities in the UK have nice and not so nice parts. If you've already tried London and the Midlands then next would probably be Manchester. As a Londoner I found there was a lot more going on in Manchester compared to Birmingham. I'm sure there are plenty of affluent areas on the outskirts of Manchester. London, Birmingham, and Manchester also have large Muslim communities. Cambridge is another nice area if your other half wants a quieter place.
