Hi all, I am trying to find a nice neighbourhood in the UK for Muslims but don’t have enough info as we have been living here for just a year now. What would you say is an affluent/ posh neighborhood for Muslims in the UK?
Currently we are in East Midlands with remote jobs so can move anywhere. Husband use to live in London and didn’t like it one bit. When I joined him later we moved to East midlands but it’s very boring / dead here. It’s also been hard to make young adult couple friends.

How do I strategically discuss or negotiate remote work abroad in an interview or when verbally handed the offer?

I am currently interviewing a few of companies. I want to be able to travel (abroad) and work. Time zone isn't an issue, I can work at the same time zone or ensure significant time overlap.

I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?
