I joined EY GDS on 23rd August,2021.

Will i be getting hike & bonus based on my performance or Pro rated basis?

Has anyone who's worked in HR, Finance, or another role with visibility to compensation information been able to use that as leverage for salary negotiations?

To put it bluntly, I know certain people with less experience and a lower performance rating are getting paid more than me due to my role working with payroll data. I suspect this was due to the fact that I did not counter offer when I accepted this role, which was a few months ago, and now I regret it.

Would you renege for an extra $17k sign-on bonus from a B4 offer if you’ve already signed with a boutique? Base is identical and I have 7YOE.

What's a median salary (considering all US employees) for big 4, Accenture, MBB and FAANG? Is 200k for big 4/ACN, 300K for MBB, 400k for FAANG a good ball park estimate?

Currently in the consulting practice, looking to make a shift to industry. Have 1 YOE in consulting (finance transformation) and 3.5 YOE in audit. Looking for some advice. Second year associate at firm of 25ish attorneys in the Midwest. Looking to make a move and have an attractive offer from a small firm of 6 attorneys. Better pay and work life balance, but I’m concerned for how a firm that small may impact my career options moving forwards and if other firms or in house options down the line maybe frown on such small firms.

I am working for NetApp Client, Bangalore however My base Location is Hyderabad, and I have heard from a couple of NetApp Employees that they are planning to resume offices by May.
My questions are:
1. If UST is planning to bring employees back to office?
2. If they call will I be asked to relocate to Bangalore as my client's location is Bangalore or will I be working from Hyderabad only?

Can married couple (both husband and wife) work in EY GDS? I am an existing employee of GDS, my wife is in recruiting process. I need to know whether it is fine. Both are different domains, I’m in Development and she is in QA.

Its weird that EY is calling themselves providing exceptional experiences, but keep sending Return to Office email on Friday and ruin our mood. What leadership is gonna achieve by sacrificing employee flexibilities and spoiling their happiness, it can ultimately lead to resignation and loss of great talents.

Does internal transfer happen in EY GDS service line? I am in International Tax and not liking it here just within a couple of months of joining. It’s a lot of back office work that is very frustrating and stressful. Have experience of Individual tax (US) for a little over 2 years and an EA. Also, does the pay scale vary?

Hello people. Need a suggestion and plz provide your honest inputs. I'm with EY GDS currently (3 YOE) with a package of 10LPA (before hike). Role is of Tax senior. I'm exploring roles in WELLS FARGO/JP as I am looking into profiles in investment banking. Have done masters in banking & finance, & have retail banking experience of 4.5 years. Overall 8+ YOE from scrap.
Just want to understand the salary structure and role in wells/jp if possible. What can I expect with the jump at most? Plz help.
