Go for the grove, lived in Brickell for 7 years and ran out of there like 2 years ago, too crowded, noisy, dirty, only quiet place is Brickell Key but getting out is insane when the bridge is open… the grove is still a nice mix of life versus rest, also have you considered Edgewater?, ain’t that bad and cheaper than the Grove and Brickell, or if money ain’t an issue then Key Biscayne is also a nice option
Brickell try the quiet sides (Emerald, Jade, etc) or behind the Publix on 13 (Le Parc or Brickell House)… lived in Brickell heights, Millecento and SLS and although amenities are nice your neighbors aren’t, is like living in college dorms.

Pick coconut groove, and you can take the free trolley to get to work or the trolley plus the metro rail at coconut groove metrorail station

Check out met 1/muze/epic. Technically downtown, but you avoid some of the brickell traffic chaos while still being very walkable. Will be on the pricier side, but still cheaper than most of brickell
