BCG final round interview in a week. Any tips on what to expect in a partner level conversation?
- how is it different than the round 1 experience?
- how important is the casing component? I'm doing pretty well, but not perfect. Friends have been eating me 8/10, with the need to improve structure and be more top down in my communication. I'm wondering what I can do to improve that in a week and if that will be a deal breaker on interview day?

Congrats on the new role! I started in AM last year, and my go-to rule is: dress up for the first client meeting, blazer, nice shoes, the works. After that, I usually match their vibe. Business casual is the norm, but I always keep a blazer handy just in case!

Thank you for the well wishes! Your rule makes a ton of sense. Thank you for sharing!
You should ask your new boss for that intel so you don’t waste money! Beyond formal presentations, most clients are jeans/nice shirt/blazer for style imho these days

Jeans!! I never would have thought! Once I interact with her more I’ll be sure to ask. Thank you!
Congrats on your new position! I always go by the rule that it’s better to be over dressed than under. I routinely meet with C-suite employees. I wear a suit for our meetings. I always “dress to impress”. First impressions can be everything!

Thank you for the well wishes! This is great advice. I appreciate it!
Congratulations on the new role, that's exciting! Definitely agree with VMLY&R that you should ask your new boss what's expected. Generally speaking, I'd err closer on the side of business professional than business casual, but to each their own.

That makes sense, being more cautious. Thank you!!
Business casual always. Head to The Loft or Anne Taylor vans grab some black, blue and tan trousers. And suck up on solid color blazers and nice solid color shirts to go underneath. You can mix and match, and you will always look professional and well put together.
