I received an offer that clearly mentions a 6-month duration, but when I spoke with the talent recruiter, I was told that based on performance evaluation, it may be converted to a permanent role, and they also provide support for the notice period. I just wanted to check whether this is really how it works at Amazon.

I have an offer to join a startup as an APM. The only downside is that the engineering team is located offshore in India.
