I’ve received an offer from TikTok but I’m unsure on whether I should allocate a part of my base salary to equity. What would the suggestion be in this case? My concern is that the complexities for a potential ipo might affect how long it might take.

I interviewed with TCS 2 times in the past 1 month, Actually I recently completed 4 Years and last time when I cleared HR told me that you are getting CTC which we offer to a 3-4 experienced person but the interview which I recently cleared HR was different and she told me the same thing that for 4-5 years experienced person we offer the CTC which you are currently working on so we can match your CTC.
Can anyone suggest something on this how to negotiate?
