Is it just me or have you lost touch with most of your friends from high school/college? I work for a company with a pretty generous PTO policy and a mostly remote flex policy (4 days a month in office if within 75 miles of the building). One thing I’m wondering if there is a way to help us I get the “I’m taking a mental health day” call out regularly which causes a strain on the rest of the team because we were unable to prepare like we would with pre-planned PTO. Has anyone had a horrendous experience with a property management group? We’ve had a plethora of issues, but the one at hand right now is that we had no hot water for 23 days. We are a household of three women and we had to use other tenants’ showers, live elsewhere, etc. for that time while managing all of the contractors coming in and out.

I’m supporting a mom who had a 2 month supply of breast milk in her freezer but the freezer stopped working at some point on Thursday after 5pm. I already accepted new firm’s offer but Partner still hasn’t discussed anything with me and at this point I need to start discussing with the other Partners about my transition. Those of you who have went from having no car to having a car in the city...do you have any regrets? Be my therapist for a second: started telling close family that were expecting, and they were all super thrilled for us. With every parent/sibling we told I got sad every time we shared the news. Its been a 3 year journey to get to this point including miscarriages and doctors appointments and treatments.
