Hi All, Need some suggestions pls. My onboarding in som 15th Sept.

Got the onboarding mail from Novartis and they asked for PF passbook for all the organizations, but my first 2 organization are exempted pf trusts, that means the passbook can't be seen or downloaded from EPFO portal. I could get only latest 2 organizations' passbook.

Will it work? What is the purpose of they asking for all organizations? A quick guidance will really help as my joining is in next 3 days.

I recently raised my rates after being told I wasn’t charging enough on here. Both of my main clients have already responded saying they either can’t pay me my new rate ($125/hour with 15 years experience) or are interested in “talking further.” So naturally I’m starting to freak out a little bit. I attended a client interview last week and was selected for the same. Now they are asking to join within a day or two. I'm having my mom's surgery this week. How to safely refuse to join this client project for at least 10 days. I can't take leave for 10 days.

Got a 30% salary bump, via an offer for Senior Consultant S&O from Deloitte. Currently underpaid at EY Advisory. I'm MBA and this year is my promotion year at EY for Manager. What to do? Get demoted and move to D? Or counter at EY? Even if EY matches my salary, and promote me to Manager, I will be an EY Manager with a Deloitte SC salary, and probably won't be able to go to D in the future. What do you think? I have built up a good relationship with my Partner and SMs at EY though.

I received an offer (28 Lakhs + 3.9 Lakhs incentive) from Novartis for Sr Project Manager yesterday. This was just 13.6% more than my current earnings as Project Manager. I've given the reasons why I deserve at least 30% to HR. In response to that, HR has sent 2nd offer i.e. 29 Lakhs + 4 Lakhs incentive + 50k sign-on bonus. The 2nd offer is just 18.2% higher than my current earnings. Need your suggestion, if I could still negotiate with HR to finalize deal by asking for 25% hike?
