Hi all. Wanted to see what general thoughts are about moving from big 4 FDD to A&M TAS. The compensation structure and culture that A&M sells are appealing, but want to know if there are any significant downsides to leaving the big 4.
A bit of background: I am currently an FDD associate (~2 years of exp) that will likely be promoted to senior this upcoming promotion cycle. I like the work that I do but don’t care much about working for massive PE or F100 clients. Would this move be worth it?

My old employer asked me if I wanted to come back to the company as a manager. The pay will likely be much better and the position holds more responsibility than I’ve had before, so overall it would be a step up. One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

About to have a final round at Msft. I realized I never had a conversation with a recruiter (I was reached out to directly by a team member) to discuss logistical details (potential start date, relocation, salary expectations). It is fair for me to ask for that type of conversation before the final round, or does that seem presumptuous?

Help - how do I fight claims by scammer healthcare providers?

I recently went to 2 different providers.

Dentist, made appt via Zocdoc to see a dentist that was in network. Another dentist at the location saw me instead who was out of network. I have text evidence they said it would be covered before visit. Claim was denied - asking for ~500 dollars.

Saw a specialist who’s office staff verified my insurance would fully cover the claim. Get the claim, says they are out of network. Owe 600.
