I love Ally 💜
No different than really any other bank account other than .65% vs .01%. Just have to be careful with amount of transfers you do

I use Goldman Sachs Marcus at 0.70% interest. DM for a referral and you’ll get an additional 0.50% for 3 months (1.2% at this time). They always have special offers for existing customers throughout the year too!
It's a savings account that uses the same password as a credit card. Conveinent
I've had one for a long time (10+ years) and no issues. Did open a Marcus account about 5 years ago because they had better interest rates. Historically Marcus has had high interest rates than American Express

You can get 3.3% on up to 20k with Liberty Financial's Vertical Checking Account. https://liberty.financial/

For debit purchases I make automatic daily $10 debit transfers to my cash app which registers, then move money back later, so I don't have to worry about it. There are other ways to do this automatically too.
I have Capital One 360, gives .60 % and in checking it has .01%, up to 5 times withdrawal/month which is very helpful. No min, the interest rate varies after first 3 months, when I opened 2/3 years back i got 1% interest on savings. I also heard SoFi is good, haven’t explored it yet.
I have both HYSA and Cap. One 360 - nothing special about the Amex savings. As AC1 said, .60% vs .65% is negligible. They’re all the same lol. You may as well park the threshold amount to receive the promotion bonus in the HYSA, then close the account after the minimum retention period (or don’t, if you decide you like it). Can’t hurt to try right?
I use Ally which gives 0.75% APY
Always get 0.75 APY I believe!
I like M1 Finance. They have 1% APY on savings and 1% cash back on debit card and also have a margin loan product at 2.75% APR.
