Welcome to German car ownership! Pro tip: dealership pricing for anything maintenance related is a rip off.

Hell no. Pure robbery. Find a reputable mechanic who specializes in luxury cars in your area. You’re better off there than your dealer.
I let Audi do all the services they want to do and it's always a ridiculously large bill. But I feel glad that it should at least have been maintained properly. Basically Stockholm Syndrome.
I mean, actually read what they’re doing - it’s not “good maintenance”. Some of their phrasing would make us blush in terms of embellishment. Paying them absurd sums of money doesn’t mean your car is any better off -
You’re much, much better off findihn a local independent mechanic who works on your type of vehicle and begin paying them absurd sums of money... you’ll actually get work done in return for it
Depending on the terms of your purchase / lease - sometimes those services are required to maintain any warranty you may have on the car - would check on that as well just in case.

If you own, do what you like. But when leasing just pay a one one off. I pay like 750 and it take care of all services till I return. I will rather lease as I drive it under the 50,000 mileage warranty. Anything after that good luck blowing Money on repairs

I do; however, I am pretty nitpicky about what in the service interval actually needs to be done. Especially with the super low mileage I’ve been putting on it lately. You really need to know the maintenance intervals compared to mileage for each part in the vehicle; then you can save by “a la carte” pricing your service visits.
I do take them to the dealer though. They have free massages and chocolate covered strawberries and Tazo tea. And an excellent free car wash. And F1 racing on the TVs. And comfy leather couches. I basically park myself on a couch with a book and escape my children for a few hours.
90% of what is incorporated in regular service intervals require no special tools, knowledge or training. We’re talking oil and filter changes, air filter changes, fluid level checks and refills, and basic instrument reading. To say you can’t do this yourself (if it’s necessary at all) is just a cop out
I have a BMW and it’s been pretty pricey to maintain after 50K miles (when the warranty expired).
