Hi all. When a third party agency employee gets converted to full time ford employee, do they stay in same project or moved to other project?

I know there is an interview process again to get converted. But wanted to check about the project allocation.

Client killed 8 months of work just a few days before the shoot. Feeling completely crushed.

A month ago the recruiter said that they are waiting on some approvals and once it is done we will be issuing the offer letter but I haven't heard back any other update since then. Am I getting rejected or is it normal to be on hold without any update for a month at this stage?

I am project manager in clinical research industry (CRO). After earning PhD, I gave up my science dream to take a more stable job.
