What are the "best" strategies for securing a SM / D role with a Big 4 / MBB in the ME (ideally Dubai) in consulting? My profile is a blend of Strategy, M&A and Digital Consulting, and it looks like specific roles for that don't exist on the open market.

I got a job as a infrastructure consultant right out of college 3 years ago and later became a solutions architect at the company I am at now. I have a degree in CS and never really got the chance to use my programming skills (Java, python, Springboot framework). I’m finding that I’m not really in to platform engineering or cloud infrastructure and would like to pivot to software/app development. And suggestions on where I could get started on making this transition?

I have technical writing experience, but I don’t have experience with clinical studies or clinical trials. Does anyone have any advice on how I can gain more experience in this field? Is it crazy to leave my job at EY to take a lower paying position in industry? I'm a recently promoted tax manager making about 140k. I've been considering going to industry for a while, gotten a couple offers, but they're all pretty low (<$120k). Honestly, the $20k difference isn't that much, but I've also been considering taking job that pay maybe $90k and doing work on the side (my own "firm"). But it also feels strange to accept such a lower salary. Thoughts?

I am not enjoying the work here. I have good experience in Linux application development in C. Also as a hobby project completed small projects on opencv/image processing on python.

Got a 30% salary bump, via an offer for Senior Consultant S&O from Deloitte. Currently underpaid at EY Advisory. I'm MBA and this year is my promotion year at EY for Manager. What to do? Get demoted and move to D? Or counter at EY? Even if EY matches my salary, and promote me to Manager, I will be an EY Manager with a Deloitte SC salary, and probably won't be able to go to D in the future. What do you think? I have built up a good relationship with my Partner and SMs at EY though.

I've received an offer from LnT (29 LPA), is that good enough to resign now , considering my CCTC is 25.8.

Also, I'm almost 90 pc sure that i may be released within a week of resignation as my project contract has not been renewed and we're in handover phase.

I'm currently in a process for senior associate at a Big4. The process began on July, yet between the first and second interview it took like 3-4 weeks. And between the 2nd and 3rd like 7 weeks. I sent an email to HR during those weeks asking for an update and didn't have an answer. Then it a 3rd one was scheduled three times (the manager didn't connect to the first 2) and next week I have the last interview with 1 partner. Is the timing normal? Or were they looking for other candidates or what?
