Any idea on the CFR practice at Alvarez and Marsal. I have been approached for the position of Associate. Wanted a few key pointers:
A) Role - From what I understand, it's in investment banking but would love more details
B) Salary - What's the salary structure? Is it like typical investment banking where there's a fixed and a performance bonus?
C) Culture

I have 6 months of prior work ex and I graduated from one of the old IIMs this year.

Reason I am asking this is - I earn close to 1.5 lakhs every month and if someone had told me this during my college days I would have taken it eyes closed thinking this is more than enough. Currently working as a process engineer in switzerland (south east). Salarys and Rent are Medium High. Current salary around 80k. Trying to switch to sales (same company). Had a talk with the teamleader. He talked about the job and told me that they were actually looking for a junior sales (and some product management responsibilities ). That they are looking for a junior isn't to bad, because i have no experience in sales (customer contact yes, but no sales) What salary can i expect?
