Currently at $200K base salary (31M) - after taxes, expenses (including vaca), and savings (maxed out 401K), I’m leftover with $30k-$40k. Is this average? If not, how are ppl saving more?

What would be a typical salary for a junior in house counsel role (3 yoe) at a publicly traded company in a secondary market (think Austin, Tampa, Charlotte)? I’m having a really hard time finding what a reasonable range would be. Hi everyone. I am currently a CA student, working as a Taxation Executive in a manufacturing industry for the past 3 years. My profile includes handling of direct and indirect taxes in the company ranging from preparation of the working upto the entry of outstanding and payment in books. Is the CPA designation worth it? For me it would take me 1 year of PREP courses and 2 years of PEP until i can write the CFE. And I am 27 years old right now. Also wondering if it would be crazy to pursue the CPA while learning how to code to be a developer as well?

Considering obtaining a CFE certification. Can anyone share their experience vs experience obtaining CPA? I’m already a CPA. I just want a comparison of study time requirement and difficulty of exam.
