So is the fixed amount my gross salary without any other deduction except TDS, or will the organisation contribution to PF be also deducted from the fixed component? Looking for advice on defending depositions. I am a first year associate and am defending my first deposition next week. I reviewed the prior transcripts from this case, and there were objections to what seemed like proper questions. Is there a strategic reason to object beyond improper form? For example, if my client is asked something that could be harmful (or at least make us look bad), should I just object? Very worried this transcript will be ex.
