Hi everyone, got selected in Amdocs through on-campus placement (2023 batch). Amdocs came for job role "Development/Managed services".

Training has started and seems like I've been randomly assigned AQE unit. I found out that it's a testing unit which like many say testing role is not good and i personally also like coding a lot, so development would be more satisfying.

Is there a possibility and if yes then what's the probability that i can get a developer role in AQE unit.

When is the best time to leave and go to another big4? I am at PwC and I knew the reputation they had and Some people said It may not be for me because of it. Ive been here a year and I feel as there right. My busy season is starting and I want to leave (not just because of my team) but as some of you may know getting along with the people you work with is a big part of wanting to stay at your job. I want to try to quit end of December and hoping to start a new position February.

Interested in joining the Reserves, but I’m guessing that’s way too much with a consulting career? No ROTC or previous military experience so I’d have to go through OCS/OTS as well.
Or is it better to wait until I exit to industry and pursue my interest in the military then?

25M, unmotivated to work out because I’m so weak and scrawny. I can’t really develop a habit because I just get discouraged being the weakest person in the entire gym. I don’t really feel comfortable around free weights and I don’t want to waste a personal trainers time either.

Does anyone know how litigation finance works on the plaintiff side? If someone wanted to bring a lawsuit against their former employer would a general contingency arrangement with a plaintiff’s firm make sense? Or would one need to find funding and then contact a plaintiff’s firm to actually handle the case? I’m a transactional lawyer, so this is out of my wheelhouse.
