Hi everyone, I attended the TCS Experienced Java Developer interview. I cleared the technical round on 8 Jul, received the document submission email on 9 Jul, uploaded all documents the same day, and my status changed to Verified on 15 Jul. When is the HR round usually scheduled after verification? What questions are asked? After the HR round, how many days does it typically take to receive the offer letter, joining letter, and complete onboarding?

When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.

Is it a good idea to rebrand myself as a device driver developer so that I can get calls again?

When asked,do you disclose your current rate in an interview? Are you required to provide evidence? What is the norm? Thanks!!!

So far I received offers from PwC India, Capgemini and Lexmark for Data Engineering.

More are in pipeline from KPMG GS, TechM, Accenture.

But one peculiar thing is happening. I have appeared for 4 Cognizant interviews but in all I have been rejected. Whereas most of my friends had easily cleared Cognizant. I am switching tech, so I am a bit concerned like whether my knowledge is too shallow😐

Scenario: US visa expired in 2021. Applied for a Canadian tourist visa to hopefully go for H-1B stamping in Canada once they open appointments.
Biometrics completed. Haven’t received any comm regarding my tourist visa approval. My partner already revived the visa long ago even if we allied together. Could it be because my US visa has expired? The reason I gave for applying for visitor visa was just for tourism purposes.

Any idea when we get relieving letter/service certificate from TCS?

My LWD was 16th September and I received FNF 10 days before. Also got initial release letter on my LWD.

I see so many issues in this organisation.
When I joined TCS after 5 days of joining they used to mail me every week for 5 continuous weeks and asked me every time for previous organisation relieving letter.
But they themselves don’t share it and delay a lot.


Anyone please advise.
