I attended a client interview last week and was selected for the same. Now they are asking to join within a day or two. I'm having my mom's surgery this week. How to safely refuse to join this client project for at least 10 days. I can't take leave for 10 days.

My LWD with TCS is 10 June, I currently hold a offer of Cognizant of 18.3LPA and promise to send me at Onsite within 6 months, apart from this I have offer from TalentCafeSolution- Client JC Penny(26.85 Fixed), Infocepts (26.5LPA, 5% variable), Nice Software Solutions(25.98LPA,10% variable) , ACS Solutions(26LPA,5%), Allianz(25LPA). So embarrassed. I literally had one job to do today which was to schedule a client and give and take her paperwork when she came in. Totally called her by the wrong name today AND gave her the wrong paperwork. She was really nice about it but I feel like my boss was disappointed and I'm disappointed in myself. It has been almost 2 weeks since I joined KPMG Global Services, but I have not been assigned any project yet. They are telling again there will be client interviews. What the hell is this? I mean I just cracked the interview to join KGS. And now again why do I need to attend interview? EYP fish - Just received an offer as an experienced hire senior consultant for 160k. I didn’t get a sign on bonus despite asking for one. Is this in line with what everyone else is experiencing?

I have been at my company for 3.5 years. One year ago (2.5 years into my employment with them) they re-leveled everyone and I was bumped to an entry level position on the terms that they changed my job title when they re-leveled, so “technically” I am at the early stages of my new title. Even though the job duties did not really change.
I’m not sure the best way to approach this. Has anyone else had a similar experience or know how I should advocate for myself?

Just found out that end of the year I will be promoted from analyst directly to VP and since it’s such a large jump I’ll be the lowest paid VP in asset management at only $135k TC. Should I stay it out and wait for TC to align or take the promotion and jump ship bc I will likely get paid more elsewhere given how recruiters/other companies eat up hiring recently promoted ppl from other firms?
