Hi everyone. I have an upcoming interview for a Client service associate position in a mid-sized wealth management firm. I have over 4 years of experience in Banking and financial operations and never had a client-facing role. I am excited and looking forward to this new opportunity because I want to navigate my career. Any tips on how to go through the interview would be great! Please help

I've only had one position and a couple interviews for it. But I think the key is to engage everyone you come into contact with. You need to be able to listen to people and respond, whether than steering the conversation. Play on your success for details in your past experience and think about who your clients were in that role. Was it other advisors or client associates calling in? Other members of the firm? Think about how you will deal with people who are being demanding or unreasonable or confused. That's just from my very limited experience. I hope you get the job and love it!

The posting says due to the high number of applicants do not follow up, you will be contacted if chosen for an interview.
How much will it hurt me to email and explain that I will be unavailable from 9/5 to 9/16 but I am extremely interested and don’t want to miss hearing from them if I have a chance for the position?
