I need your advice. I've been working as a "Senior Commercial Loan Representative" for 6 years, but I don't see many opportunities in this field. I'm thinking about switching to a Business Analyst role, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea.

Would companies see me as a beginner in this new role? I'm ready to learn everything, but I don't know if they'll hire someone new to this field. Can anyone help me with this?

Current student looking for advice. I interned at RBC Wealth Management last summer and currently have 2 offers for summer 2023 that require a decision next week: 1 for BASF (chemical manufacturing) and 1 for Peraton (defense technology); I am also waiting to hear back from SMBC (S&T), Point72, Lord Abbett, Boeing, and Shell. I am currently in industry, but was a Senior in Accounting Advisory, and before that an audit associate. I’m thinking of trying DDV at PwC as I’ve always been interested in M&A integration, but am unsure on carry over of skills and also would like to go somewhere I can be bumped to Manager as I was almost there prior to leaving industry.
