Not about Amazon but maybe someone has the answer I’m looking for :) At Meta if you interview for a contract role and get rejected does the 6 month cool off period still apply to you when apply to new jobs? Similarly, if you are employed by a staffing agency at Meta are you barred from interviewing for other roles there? Facebook (Meta)

You can take a Project Management bootcamp. Just to show you’re serious. The main thing is explaining your why whether it’s from a recruiter, agency or hiring managers. In person or via a CV. I can’t imagine any AD’s looking to transition. PM is mentally challenging & draining. Most don’t love it. Especially if you’re a naturally creative person. Good luck 🍀
Thank you for your honest feedback, I really appreciate it. I hear you on project management being mentally challenging. I have experienced some of that firsthand, since my role as a Senior Art Director has always been hybrid. I was not just focused on creative output, I often handled timelines, coordinated with different teams, managed stakeholders, and made sure projects stayed on track while still driving the creative vision.
What draws me to brand management specifically is that it feels like a natural progression where I can combine strategic thinking, creativity, and leadership. I love shaping the bigger picture, working on positioning, storytelling, and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints, not just delivering assets.
I know it will require strengthening my business and operational skills, which is why I am exploring certifications and maybe even business school, but also hands-on experience. Your suggestion about bootcamps is really helpful, I will definitely look into that as a way to show I am serious about this transition.
Thanks again for taking the time to respond, it means a lot!
