I've been in linear advertising for 3 years and been trying so hard to climb the ladder, but something is hindering my progression and I know in my heart of hearts its not me. It's becoming very discouraging to my confidence and I don't know what to do any more. How does one most effectively make the transition into management from an Individual Contributor?

I've been an individual contributor for 4 years in Tech, have 8 years of experience total. I'm finding it difficult to make the management transition despite having management experience, performing beyond expectations, and having a genuine passion for enablement and development.

But my project is working only on back end with 10 years old tech stack. There is no front end work at all. What should I do?

LMAO what do Afro Latinos look like? I just asked a creative to include more pictures of Afro-Latinos in our hispanic messaging and she said "I tried to find pictures of videos that looked authentic but they didn't have the right look, it's a very specific look". So no black people in the ad cause this white passing lady needs to gate keep who looks latina enough. The blond, blue eyed women in the photos passed though... UGHH.
