John’s Roast Pork has the best cheesesteak in the city.
Adding this to my list! I haven't ever been there as I am fairly new to the area. Still checking everything out.
I know everyone has their own opinions, but Angelo’s in South Philly has the best cheesesteak on planet earth (get your steak with cooper sharp cheese!)
Angelos for cheesesteaks (and hoags, and pizza)
Avoid roaming too early in the morning or late in the evening.
KPMG1 sounds like the type to live far out in delco but tell everyone they’re “from philly” 💀
Parc, cafe la Maude, Sabrina’s, Harpers garden for brunch. Angelos is definitely the way to go for cheesesteaks. Or if you’re limited to center city, cleavers is solid.

Get the shakshuka at Dizengoff, eggs poached in tomato sauce. Also have their delicious hummus and freshly baked pita.
Most ppl will tell you to go to Tony Lukes, but go to George on 9th and christian. for brunch, try out FRIEDAS
Harpers garden for brunch is very good
Get a roast pork from Dinic’s in Reading Terminal Market.

Philly Style Bagels (one location in Old City and another in Fishtown), Fiore in Queen Village for pastries or breakfast sandwiches, ICI in Old City for pastries and macarons, Honey’s in Northern Liberties is also great for breakfast but can be a long wait.
Bloomsday is the best for brunch! PHS Beer Garden for afternoon / evening drinks outside
For brunch, The Dutch. If you have a car and want a cheesesteak, Donkey’s Place across the river in Camden.
Go to Suraya in fishtown if they have an open res. You will NOT be disappointed, simply amazing food and service
El techo has a solid little rooftop for HH drinks
Independence beer garden is great vibes on a nice day
