Hi Fishes, Pls help,
YOE: 13 yrs
Cctc: 13 lpa
Have cleared HCL interview. Initially they offered 23 lpa (via proposed offer letter), but i requested to reconsider it for 25 lpa.
After 5 days, they sent final offer letter of 19 lpa (stating they can offer max 50% as per L4 approval).
Queries:
1. Is this normal or rare case, reducing the offer amount from what quoted initially?
2. Should I accept or negotiate?
I don't have any other offer as of now.

Hi folks,
I had got an assessment from HSBC . Problem is that the link to the assessment opens to my career page and it is showing 'Access Denied'. There is a mail and a contact no in the same assessment but the mail is showing as invalid and the phone no is less than 10 digits. Whom to approach in this situation? There is no PoC from my side.

No need to involve anyone. Do it silently. Just start applying for open positions. Yes after 1 year you’re eligible.
You can start applying, need not wait for one year. It takes time for your resume to get reviewed, shortlisted and then interviews to get scheduled. Some keep trying for over 6 months and one year and still have a hard time getting interviews so best to start little early. Do not inform anyone, not even your team mate, or manager. If you have a good working relationship with your manager you might have a smoother transition. Inform once selected. HR folks any way will reach out to him/her for feedback before you move under hiring manager. Watch the careers section frequently. All the best.
